"Over the past ten years, I've read every book available on screenwriting; I've paid readers to read my screenplays; and I've read scripts... What I wanted was the sense of certainty that my screenplays were professionally written, marketable, and well-crafted.

Within ten minutes of our first conversation, I knew I'd found a source of information that I could trust. Your data was backed up by example, experience and smarts. You took the time to ensure that I understood what you were discussing.  I know also that you always said in our sessions together exactly what you meant, and I appreciate that.

What impressed me most about your approach was the way you treated me as an individual. You listened to what I was asking for and you delivered exactly that. And very quickly I might add.

In one moment, it all came together, and I understood what I hadn't over the past ten years. All the doubt faded that had kept me from achieving a viable product. In a matter of hours, I was able to fix a screenplay that I had spent too many years re-writing and re-working.

After working with you, Mr. Sherman, I know now I have a product that not only looks good but delivers on its promise.

You have made a professional out of me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

"A painter has to master his craft to get his vision on the canvas; a musician has to master his instrument to get his vision into the heart of the audience; the writer has to master his writing to bring the seed of his vision into readers' imaginations...

Dear Eric, thank you for teaching me the craft -
Der Schwimmer
(The Swimmer) has been invited
to the competition of the International Festival of Cannes!!!"

K. H.

"Studying directing with Eric has been an eye-opening experience."

E.S.

"Your instruction has made all the difference from going through the usual motions to creating a work of art. I feel as if a whole new world has been opened up to me. Thank you for being there and for sharing your expertise, knowledge and experience with me."

K.R.

"His knowledge of film, his sensitivity and especially his ability to communicate technical information in a concise manner instilled in us the confidence we needed for our directorial debut."
